With the lack of rain, the river gets lower and lower each day. Consequently, our beach is getting larger and larger, and we've been enjoying spending more time down there.
We watched this deer drinking along one of the islands.
We finally have something besides chili peppers! Stay tuned for a pickle recipe...
These beauties popped up in our backyard! I did not have high hopes when I planted them, but I'm thrilled that they survived the hot summer.
