Maple Cinnamon Crepes

Have you ever had crepes?  The first time I ever tried crepes was at the French pavillion in EPCOT at Disney World.  They were amazing, as you would expect anything from Disney to be.  They were so good, in fact, that I deemed them impossible to make at home.  I've seen so many recipes for crepes all over the place and never bothered to try making them on my own until recently.  Boy, have we been missing out!  I'm not claiming that these are as good as Disney's, but they are right up there.  If you've never had the guts to try making them at home, you should give it a whirl!  They are not nearly as difficult as they look, and they taste amazing.

Maple Cinnamon Crepes

You will need:
4 T unsalted butter, melted
1 1/2 C milk
2 eggs
1 t maple flavoring
1 C flour
2 T brown sugar
1/4 t salt
1 T cinnamon

Whisk together your melted butter, milk, eggs, and maple flavoring.

Gradually add the flour, brown sugar, salt, and cinnamon, whisking until there are no more lumps.

Melt butter in a pan, and pour just enough batter to thinly cover the bottom of it.

Cook for 1 minute, flip, and cook for about 30 seconds.

We put a little powdered sugar and raspberries on ours, but they are wonderful by themselves.

Enjoy!
