Burlap and Button Autumn Art

I've been seeing a lot of button art lately, and while it's not my usual style, it's kind of growing on me.  Marshall's grandmother went to her church's garage sale this weekend, and she felt obligated to buy something.  She picked up a couple jars of buttons and some embroidery hoops thinking that I could probably figure out something to make with them.  And figure out, I did.

We are in the midst of canning and a kitchen remodel, so something quick and easy was in order.  This took about 10 minutes to put together, and it could really be made for any season by picking different colors of buttons.  I simply cut a piece of burlap to fit the hoop, drew a tree silhouette with a Sharpie, and hot glued buttons on it.  Does it get any easier?
